synopsis
The barely dressed presence of famed 1950s pinup girl Laurette Luez is the most compelling reason for sitting through African Treasure. The film's male star is Johnny Sheffield as Bomba the Jungle Boy. This time, Bomba butts heads with a pair of ruthless diamond smugglers, who pose as geologists. Since the villains are played by actors who are well into middle age, it's not much of a contest when the twentysomething Bomba cleans their clocks. African Treasure was the seventh entry in Monogram's 12-installment "Bomba" series. Keep a close watch for John Ford "regular" Woody Strode in a small role.
