synopsis
After nearly four seasons in a Saturday-night timeslot, Adam-12 moved to a new Thursday evening berth beginning with this episode. The LAPD's Internal Affairs Division zeroes in on officer Tony Johnson (Jed Allan), who has been charged with extorting money from a civilian. The only person who can clear Johnson is a bar girl, but no one can locate her--except, hopefully, officers Jim Reed (Kent McCord) and Pete Malloy (Martin Milner).
