In this episode, Ted Koppel is joined by ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Pierre Salinger. Together, the reporters interview Waldheim, asking a series of difficult questions. Originally aired on February 15, 1988, the episode targets Waldheim at a highly controversial time -- the world had just discovered that he concealed knowledge of certain WWII atrocities.
