A Pair of Baby Shoes (1912)

Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Directed by British actor/playwright Thomas Ricketts, this one-reel melodrama starred Dorothy Davenport and Harold Lockwood as a couple on the verge of divorce who finds new strength at the sight of their death baby's shoes. A presumably uplifting tale, this one-reeler was produced by Hollywood's first movie company, Nestor, a rather ramshackle little film factory located in a former tavern at Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street. Leading lady Dorothy davenport was married to matinee-idol Wallace Reid.
