A man who is suddenly single seems shackled by his new freedom in this comedy-drama from Argentinean filmmaker Rodrigo Moreno. Boris (Esteban Bigliardi) is emotionally blindsided when his longtime girlfriend Ana (Cecilia Rainero) announces she's not happy with their relationship and asks him to move out. Boris is confused and hurt but goes along with her request, moving into a shabby hotel and drifting through his days with little clear purpose. Boris begins exploring the city after buying an old blue car, but it's faulty relic from another age and as it begins falling apart, so does Boris's life as he fails reconnect with Ana and occupies himself with long bus rides. Un Mundo Misterioso (aka A Mysterious World) received its North American premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
