Synopsis by Nathan Southern
The Musical Journey series of releases juxtaposes picturesque views of key landmarks with classical music on the soundtrack, the pieces chosen for their relevance to the city or region on display. This installment travels to some of the most gorgeous locales in the world: Northern Italy and the island of Sicily in the Mediterranean. Sites visited in these regions include the frescoes by Giulio Romano; Cremona, for a tour of the workshop of violin maker Stefano Conia; the Central Station in Milan; and Mt. Etna in Sicily. The music on the soundtrack features many compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including Symphony No. 41 (the "Jupiter Symphony"), and Symphony No. 25.
