Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Susie Nolan (Vivian Martin) is the daughter of Jim Nolan, an employee of the company inherited by millionaire Phil Burnham (Tom Forman). To learn the family business from the bottom up, Phil goes to work in the company factory, adopting a pseudonym for the purpose. While thus engaged, he meets and falls in love with Susie and by extension takes an interest in the welfare of her family. When Papa Nolan inherits a fortune, the family is suckered in by a crooked investor, and they promptly lose their windfall. Ever so quietly, Phil takes charge of the Nolans' finances and builds up their fortune all over again. At this point, he reveals his true identity and proposes to Susie, who would probably have loved him even if he hadn't bailed out her foolhardy family.
