Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Based on a novel by Rezco Torok, A Ferfi Mind Orult (All Men Are Mad) was co-written for the screen by Torok himself. Paul Javor plays Gabor, an impoverished painter who does odd jobs around the hotel where he lives to pay his rent. Spying the boots belonging to wealthy South American widow Elena (Maria Pazar), Gabor plans to steal them to give to his sweetheart, but his best friend beats him to it. In trying to retrieve the boots and collect a big reward, our hero is accused of swiping the widow's pet dog. When the smoke clears, Gabor and the widow have fallen in love, leaving the audience to reflect upon the reaction of his never-seen sweetheart.
