This documentary covers two tumultuous years in the history of the city of Detroit. In 1967, 43 people died and 2500 stores were destroyed during a violent spate of race riots. Just when it seemed as though Motown would never recover from this devastation, the city's Tigers baseball team roared into flame, ultimately winning the World Series--and giving the beleaguered metropolis a reason to go hoping that better days were ahead.
