Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Dan T. Hall's family-friendly film 587: The Great Train Robbery begins with a boy named Alex accidentally guiding his soapbox racecar through a fence. On the other side he discovers an abandoned locomotive engine. Although the plans are for the old train to be scrapped, Alex attempts to save it with assistance from an old train engineer and his pet pooch. Soon every kid in town is part of the plan.
