10 is a collection of short videos from Germany and Portugal which have one thing in common: the number ten. The first short, Beacon (by Christoph Giradet and Matthias Müller), is a photo collage of ten different coastlines across the globe; Kalkitos (by Miguel Gomez) is a silent video about an adult man who claims that he is only ten years old in order to join in a football game; Ten Minutes Till the End (by Daniele Cipri and Franco Maresco) is the tale of scientists trapped in a fallout shelter on Doomsday; and Remains (Sandro Aguillar) is an avante-garde piece featuring the sights and sounds of a devastated world. The collection appeared in the Filmmakers of Tomorrow section of the 2002 Locarno Film Festival.
