This music documentary directed by Nick Broomfield chronicles the long-lasting relationship between the much-celebrated musician Leonard Cohen and his muse Marianne Ihlen, after they met in 1960. Recounting the history of their sometime romantic relationship and enduring friendship that lasted from their bohemian 1960s foray until they passed away in 2016, the documentary also features interviews with those who knew them and the thinking behind many of Cohen’s best loved songs.
