After a high profile fashion designer (Fanny Ardant) is jilted, her second-in-command (Marina Hands) must dig up a new man willing to act as her muse in order to save the next season's collection. But the shaggy nobody (Eric Elmosnino) who catches her fancy isn't as cooperative as she'd hoped.
