Theo Angelopoulos' deliberate drama Ulysses' Gaze comes to DVD with a standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include filmographies and production credits. This very visual film suffers from the lack of a widescreen transfer, which is the biggest complaint that can be leveled toward this disc.
