The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Thai subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer. While this disc may be short on extras, the care taken with the picture (especially for a film as old as this one) earns Columbia/TriStar much credit.
