The Hollywood Sign's digital transfer shines the best light possible on this wonderfully silly, low-budget character study. The widescreen anamorphic transfer and digital 2.0 stereo sound showcase the cast's fine performances just so. Interior scenes are just as sharply focused as exterior scenes, which are shot in a light designed to suggest, at times, the bright and inviting midday sun of Southern California and the darkening setting sun (symbolic of the main characters' careers).
