Antonio Banderas' directorial debut, Crazy In Alabama, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the soundtracks are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Banderas and lead actress Melanie Griffith, a photo montage with commentary from Banderas, a making-of featurette, the theatrical trailer, and a blooper reel. This is an excellent release of a little seen film from Columbia/TriStar.
