William Finely was a versatile character actor who got his start on the stage. After 1964, he began appearing on television and in films such as Murder a la Mod (1968), Eaten Alive (1976) and Simon (1980). He's most known for his collaborations with Brian DePalma on such pictures as Phantom of the Paradise, The Fury, and Dressed to Kill.
