biography
American theatrical and film actress Virginia True Boardman, born Virginia Eames, was the wife of early action-adventure star True Boardman. Virginia began her acting career on stage in 1906. She went on to star in numerous minor films from 1911 through the early 1920s, after which she was relegated to character roles. She continued appearing frequently in films through the early 1930s. In one early sound series, she played the mother of the newly discovered child star, Shirley Temple.
