biography
Musician Hamilton "Terry" Gilkyson wrote numerous songs for a wide variety of performers, ranging from Dean Martin to Johnny Cash to Louis Armstrong. As for his work in film, his efforts in collaboration on Walt Disney's films The Jungle Book (1967) and The Aristocats will be his most memorable achievements. Gilkyson also wrote songs prolifically for the Disney TV series The Wonderful World of Disney.
