biography
A production assistant in the early '70s, Miner ran an editing service which led to his directing, producing, and editing numerous educational, industrial, and sports films. He began helming theatrical features in the early '80s with the slasher sequels Friday the 13th, Part 2 and Friday the 13th, Part 3. His other films include the scare fare House and Warlock (which he also produced) and the comedy Soul Man.
