Internationally acclaimed filmmaker and film editor Sidney Meyers is best known for directing two features: The Quiet Eye, a low-budget 1949 documentary that won an award at that year's Venice Film Festival, and The Savage Eye, a film he co-directed with Joseph Strick and Ben Maddow.
