biography
"A brisk British blonde," to quote one Hollywood observer, Pat Patterson had played supporting roles in a couple of British programmers prior to making her Hollywood debut opposite Spencer Tracy in Bottoms Up (1934), a backstage musical and a notorious flop. She was relegated to even less desirable fare thereafter and concentrated instead on being Mrs. Charles Boyer.
