biography
French director Pascal Thomas made his directorial debut in 1972. His subsequent films are noted for their lyrical stories and their naturalism. He is considered by some critics to be the next Jean Renoir. Thomas was born in Montargis, France, and before becoming a filmmaker was a film critic who contributed to some of France's most popular periodicals.
