Biography by AllMovie

After supporting roles in a handful of small films, Dallas-born actor Lane Garrison gained fame with a role in the first season of Fox's cult series Prison Break. Though his character didn't last very far into the second season, Garrison parlayed his success into a part in the Mark Wahlberg action thriller Shooter, released in the spring of 2007. Garrison's burgeoning film career, however, was set back when the actor pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge stemming from an incident in December 2006. Driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, Garrison plowed his SUV into a tree, killing one of his passengers.
