A minor vamp of the 1910s, blonde Alma Hanlon appeared mainly for independent producers such as Kleine, Ivan, Triumph, Apollo, and Pioneer Film Co., and is perhaps better known as the mother of MGM staff writer Dorothy Kingsley. Hanlon's screen career lasted from 1915 to 1919 and included The Mishaps of Musty Suffers (1916), a series of 30 one-reel comedies starring stage comic Harry Watson, Jr.
