A prominent producer of children's television programming, Nina Elias Bamberger was involved with such popular children's television series as Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, and Big Bag. A native of Worcester, MA, and alumni of Boston College, her success on Sesame Street would eventually lead to the Emmy-winning prime-time special Twenty and Still Counting, as well as Sesame Shalom, a version of Sesame Street shot in both Israel and the United States. Bamberger also co-produced the Sesame Workshop and Pepper's Ghost Productions CGI cartoon series Tiny Planets. Bamberger died of ovarian cancer on November 20, 2002, in Orlando, FL. She was 48.
