U.K. native Myleene Klass came from a musical family. Her father was a sixth-generation classically trained musician, and her grandmother was an opera singer. Klass studied piano, harp, voice, and violin, and worked as a professional backup singer for artists like k.d. lang and Robbie Williams, before winning a spot in the girl-group Hear'Say on the reality show Popstars. The group enjoyed immense success until its breakup in 2003, at which point Klass pursued a solo career, and became more invested in a career as a TV presenter, most notably hosting Britain's reality series I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in 2006. Klass then went on to host the American version of the show in 2009.
