Biography by AllMovie

A comedian seemingly from birth, Trevor Moore began drawing cartoons at a young age, publishing his own book at age 12. By 16, he was writing cartoons for newspapers around his home state of Virginia, starring in his own public access show, The Trevor Moore Show, which was a major hit among college kids in Charlottesville. Two years later, in 2003, Moore was offered the chance to present his show to a wider audience, producing the show for a PAX-TV affiliate. The series only lasted 16 episodes before it was yanked due to offensive content, but Moore was undeterred, studying at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and helping found the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U Know. The group eventually got its own show on network IFC in 2007, and in addition to writing and starring in the series, he soon branched onto the screen, co-writing, co-directing, and co-starring in the film Miss March. Over the coming years, Moore found success on the small screen, with roles on shows like Breaking In and the sketch comedy series The Whitest Kids U'Know.
