Megan Hauserman found her niche as a regular in the world of reality TV with a stint on the series Beauty and the Geek. After winning her season on the show, the Playboy model and "Cyber Girl" then moved on to a stint on the second season of Rock of Love, where she competed against other girls for the chance to date Bret Michaels, a popular figure in the 1980s hair metal scene. Hauserman made it to Episode 9, and subsequently parlayed her notoriety from the series into another reality gig, competing against other reality TV cast-offs for a cash prize on the VH1 series I Love Money. Following that project, she moved on to appear on the Rock of Love spin-off Rock of Love: Charm School. Hauserman got along poorly with the show's host, music manager, promoter, and reality TV star in her own right Sharon Osbourne, who judged Hauserman harshly for her belligerent, drunken antics. Making it only as far as Episode 4, the reality TV vet was sure to make the most of her recognition from the show, making a riotous scene on the series' reunion episode that ended with Osbourne diffusing the situation by dousing the model (who participated in the reunion clad only in a bikini) with a glass of water.
