Director Matt Kohn honed his skills on everything from commercials to music videos, but he's probably best known as the helmer of the documentary Call it Democracy. A graduate of Brandies University with a degree in politics, feminism, and film theory, Kohn also explored other areas of the creative arts, including publishing a book of poetry in 1996 called Lake Success. ­
