biography
Margaret Rawlings spent most of her life on the British stage where she had been performing since the 1920s. Rawlings was born a missionary's daughter in Osaka, Japan. She made her feature-film debut in The Way of Lost Souls (1929). Her subsequent film appearances include Roman Holiday (1953), Beautiful Stranger (1954) and Hands of the Ripper (1971).
