biography
The sister of Vitagraph star Anita Stewart, Lucille Lee Stewart began her professional career in vaudeville. By 1912, she was playing in Vitagraph comedies opposite rotund Hughie Mack and directed by her husband, Ralph Ince. While sister Anita became a major star, Lucille was usually playing second leads and her career fizzled out in the 1920s. In 1925, she divorced Ince after 13 years of marriage and lived the remainder of her life in obscurity.
