Screenwriter Leslie Newman frequently worked with her husband David Newman during the '70s and '80s. Together the two penned the scripts for both Superman and Superman II. In the '80s, Leslie's knowledge and fascination with culinary arts lead her to become a noted expert on food, a cookbook author and a newspaper columnist. In 1991 her first-hand chronicle of some of New York's New Year's Eve film industry parties, Feasts became a best-seller.
