biography
American actor Lee Goodman appeared in a few films between the late '50s and early '60s including the Music Man (1962). Goodman started out acting on stage at age eight and then began performing in nightclubs before teaming up with James Kirkwood to form a popular radio duo. Both Kirkwood and Goodman ended up on The Garry Moore Show for two years and then appeared together in a Broadway revue Dance Me a Song. On television, Goodman appeared as the "Man from Checkerboard Square" for the Ralston Purina company during the 1960s.
