Special effects master Larry Cavanaugh assembled one of the most impressive bodies of work of any technician in the field. Cavanaugh learned his trade under the guidance of Joe Lombardi and worked with many of the great directors on many of the greatest films made. He continued to work until his death in late 1999, with his last effort going towards the John Woo/Tom Cruise action film, Mission: Impossible 2.
