biography
Yugoslavian director Kreso Golik made documentaries and feature films, as well as television plays. Golik began his career as a sports reporter for Radio Zagreb and gained early experience as an amateur filmmaker. As a professional, Golik made a few short documentaries between 1948 and 1968; he made his first feature, Plavi 9/The Blue 9, in 1950. He has also lectured on film direction at Zagreb's Academy of Theater, Film, and Television since 1979.
