American screenwriter Keene Thompson was active from 1923 to 1935. During this period, Thompson was most closely associated with Paramount Pictures. He wrote scripts and special material for such stars as Raymond Griffith (Paths to Paradise), Gary Cooper (The Virginian), and Clara Bow (True to the Navy). Toward the end of his career, Keene Thompson specialized in comedies, notably the all-star Six of a Kind (1934), which combined the talents of W.C. Fields, Alison Skipworth, Charlie Ruggles, Mary Boland, and George Burns and Gracie Allen.
