American screenwriter Kenneth Gamet joined the Warner Bros. "B" unit in 1937. Gamet's contributions to Warners' included three of the four "Nancy Drew" "B" pictures. From Universal's Pittsburgh (1942) onward, Gamet was among the most frequent writers for John Wayne, collaborating on the scripts of The Duke's Flying Tigers (1943) and Flying Leathernecks (1951), among others. He also scripted several Randolph Scott vehicles, including Canadian Pacific (1949) and Man in the Saddle (1951). Kenneth Gamet remained active until 1956.
