Jonathan Elias graduated from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester and ended up in Hollywood, scoring low-budget movies across the board, with Children Of The Corn being a reasonable success. His activities ranged beyond relatively mediocre underscores, however, taking in numerous collaborations in the rock world (with John Waite, Roger Taylor of Duran Duran, and Yes, among others; his contribution to Yes' Union album has been thoroughly derided over the years). During the mid-'90s Elias began scoring television commercials, providing music for the Energizer Bunny series and later moving on to score all of those amusing "Got Milk?" commercials. He was nominated for a Razzie Award for "worst song."
