biography
John William Corrington wrote screenplays and teleplays for many years both alone and in conjunction with his wife Joyce. His movie scripts include Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) and Killer Bees. On television, Corrington and his wife penned the scripts for the soap operas One Life to Live and General Hospital. He also worked as the head writer for the television show Superior Court. Later Corrington served as the chairman of the English Department at Loyola University, New Orleans.
