biography
British production designer John Box received his education at the London School of Architecture. He began working in British films in 1947, but did not become prominent until the 1960s when he began winning awards in both Britain and the U.S. for films such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962) and Nicholas and Alexandra (1971).
