biography
Jim Moran was perhaps one of the greatest and nuttiest personalities/press agents to ever work in the film industry. Moran was well known for his outrageous stunts, which included selling a freezer to an Eskimo and trying to find a needle in a haystack, all for the attention to the products and/or properties he was trying to sell. His fervor for selling movies was equally bizarre, as exemplified by his sitting on an ostrich egg for the 1947 film, The Egg and I. Moran died in late 1999, at the age of 91.
