biography
Jerry Fairbanks is known on the technical end of the entertainment industry for having pioneered the photography of television programs using multiple cameras, a technique he first tried for NBC in 1947. He later became a producer and in the 1940s won Academy Awards for his live-action shorts Who's Who in Animal Land and Moon Rockets.
