biography
A graduate in electronics and telecommunication engineering, Jayaraaj won the Kerala State Film Award in 1992 with his first feature, Kudumbasametham. The 1996 production, Desadanam received the Jury's Special Mention at Karlovy Vary Film Festival and has traveled to many other film festivals, as well as receiving several awards at home.
