One of the first openly gay comedians to include his sexuality as a key element of his onscreen and on-stage personas, Jason Stuart started making the rounds at comedy clubs in the early '90s with a wicked cache of jokes about his life as a gay Jewish single living in L.A. Soon, the funnyman was appearing on TV shows like Charmed and My Wife and Kids, as well as movies like Kindergarten Cop and Vegas Vacation. Stuart also combined elements from his stand-up routine with real-life discussions of culture and politics to create a lecture he brought to several universities titled "Coming Out in Hollywood."
