biography
Handsome, leading actor James Philbrook began his film career with important roles in two Susan Hayward vehicles, I Want to Live (1958) and A Woman Obsessed (1959). He went on to co-star in the weekly TVers The Islanders (1960, as pilot Zack Malloy) and The New Loretta Young Show (1962, as magazine editor Paul Belzer, who married Ms. Loretta Young's character in the final episode). Relocating to Europe in the mid-1960s, James Philbrook enjoyed considerable success as a spaghetti- western star.
