biography
French actor Jacques Santi is best known in his native land for starring in the popular '60s television series Chevalier du Ciel. He also appeared in a few movies through the mid-'80s. After being seriously injured in an auto wreck, Santi became an assistant director to such filmmakers as Claude Zidi and Robert Enrico. In 1987, he made his own directorial debut with Flagrant Delicro and earned a César nomination for his efforts.
