biography
Canadian actress Hilda Allen is primarily known for the tremendous influence she exerted on the development of theater in Saskatchewan, particularly in Regina where she worked as a director and player in that area's annual presentation of The Trial of Louis Riel. Allen made her feature-film debut in the Disney film Portraits of Canada (1984). Her final film was Eamon, released in 1986, the year she died.
