Hester Hargett on AllMovie

Producer Hester Hargett has spent most of her career working closely with Raffaella DeLaurentiis and, indeed, serves as executive vice president for the latter's Raffaella Productions. The two producers teamed up for the first time on Conan the Barbarian (1982). Hargett remained a co-producer until the mid-'80s, when she was appointed Director of Production at DeLaurentiis Entertainment Group, where the two women worked. When Raffaella DeLaurentiis left her father's company to found her own, Hargett went with her and has since acted as co- and associate producer on several projects, including Dragonheart (1996).
